Perçin - The History of the Company
Perçin is a Turkish manufacturer of electronic products. It is owned by the Perçin Gümrük A.Ş. Group. In 1986, the Perçin Group, founded by İshak Özyılmış Kebaoglu, became the first Turkish company that met the European standard (DIN-ISO/TSE-RoHS). In addition, the company was also the first Turkish company that was certified by UL as a “UL Certified Product”. In the year 1986, Perçin obtained a license from the Institute of Metallurgy and Mining for the production of electric motors and control systems.
In the year 1998, Perçin was one of the first companies in Turkey to implement the first batch of software-based products. By using the idea of the “Product-Service” concept, Perçin was also the first company to establish a product-service department. In 2000, Perçin was the first company in Turkey to establish an ISO-certified “Quality Management System”. In the same year, the company started to produce “Green Products”.
